American Gangster
This film is based on a true story about Frank Lucas in 1968. He makes this decision to be the best at making money by cutting and selling heroin in New York. However he is making too much waves by cutting out the middle man going straight to the source. Someone close to a detective dies and now will be hunting down the person who makes this specific drug. The detective along with a narcotic team start their investigation to bring down to top person. Will the detectives find the person or people they are looking for? Will Frank Lucas be unstoppable or will he get caught up? I loved this film because it shows the lengths Frank went to get what he wanted. Its the type of movie you are rooting for the bad guy but also want the good guys to win. It’s confusing but you have to watch it. I must also mention this story is told on Drug Lords S1 E3.
